Aldos Buenos Aires

The Moreno Hotel in San Telmo houses this new restaurant and vinoteca. Not as visually stunning as some of the restaurants in Buenos Aires more of Baltezaar meets Vinny Ts.

The bar area is very nice , not pretensious at all.

The food is simple, well priced and very good.

The beef tenderloin wrapped in bacon with French fries was delicious .

The local market menu is small but covers all the basics like this sea bass.

< As this doubles up as a wine store buying by the bottle is actually quite cheap and of course the range is very comprehensive. Buying by the glass is very limited and not cost effective so I tried a beer. My first from Chile. 20111228-220114.jpg
Sound system here was excellent. Soundtrack was good and very jazzy.

M Buenos Aires

Absolutely stunning building.

This was an old winery that has been converted into a bar and restaurant . Inside the curved ceilings really remind me of the Albert Dock in Liverpool .

So the building is stunning and the food
is of a similar quality. The sushi while expensive was excellent.

The salmon was fantastic.

The duck was sublime.

Before you leave check out the bar.

Remember to talk to Juan Pablo re the vino.
